Similar
to Anselm Kiefer's approach, I try to find a way to confront the
contemporary consumer with historical happenings. Aesthetics are a
crucial part within my work as I believe that aesthetics moralize the
consumer. At the same time, I try to intertextualize well known
literary figures, or figures within art pieces, to question the
moralizing effect in art.
